Summary
It had been four months since Gary Smith had gotten expelled from Bullworth. Four months since he fell through the roof and his grand plan blew up in his face, and it had been four months of Pete finally getting a breath of fresh air.
Eventually, the monotonous schedule of waking up, going to classes, then sitting and watching television grew tiring. He couldn’t help but think back to Gary— how he’d antagonize him when he got mouthy and threatened to stop talking to him, how he’d poke and flick him when he sat down in front of the television, and how he’d lay half-awake some nights watching as Gary paced around their bedroom, muttering to himself far too loudly considering the hour.
He found himself missing that grating presence. So, he took it upon himself to do a bit of research.

Summary
The woods are (mostly) quiet as Billy and Stu claim yet another victim as theirs. Stu's constant commentary gets on Billy's nerves fast. He doesn't ever take anything seriously, it should be impossible for someone to be this carefree while committing a murder, shouldn't it?
Listening to his light tone and laid-back, joking phrases drive Billy up the wall. He figures out a way to shut Stu up (even if just for five minutes) and give himself a few moments of peace as they leave the crime scene.

After a long, tedious healing period, Carter can finally kiss Alex the way he's been dying to without worrying about his new tongue piercing. The metal is cool against his tongue, glinting brightly in the dark bedroom.
Kissing quickly turns into something else, something that neither boy has been able to do for a while. All that waiting has seemed to pay off, though.

“I’ve even got to second base once, at a party,” Randy chews his bottom lip, which is incredibly interesting to Stu, “I mean, it was over the shirt, but still. Counts.” He puffs out his chest, like he’s daring the other to discount what he imagines was a very exciting experience for him.
Stu doesn’t take the bait, and instead asks, “so you’ve never even had a girl jack you off?”
“What part of second base only did you miss, Einstein?” Randy is good at standing his ground, Stu will give him that--his tongue gets all mean when he thinks he’s being made out as a joke. For once, Randy is far, far off the mark.
“Cause I’ll jack you off, if you want.”
