    There was an unexplainable power behind RAD WEEKEND, something that might not be possible to replicate. When does one decide that it’s time, that the event is surpassable now? How long will it take to get to that point? Where Vivid BAD SQUAD’s vocals are good enough and every member feels they’re ready? Will it take five months? Five years? Would they last five years? When will it be time for Akito to say, with no doubt in his heart, that he loves this city—warts and all? What comes next? Is Vivid BAD SQUAD limited to this small town forever? Will their legacy, alongside RAD WEEKEND’s, eventually pass on? Would Akito accept that? Could Akito, not the whole group, could Akito Shinonome surpass RAD WEEKEND with all his might?

    Akito is no longer “Akito” without music, without this event, without his group. Sometimes, that realization is terrifying, but he wouldn’t live life any other way. Akito swears he’ll never let the fire he lit years ago burn out.

    Or: To Akito Shinonome, Ena is the strongest person the world has ever seen. He wants to be just as strong, no matter the cost.
