Steve kept glancing at Eddie Munson, who was carelessly eating a bag of chips, crumbs pooling at the creases in his ‘HellFire’ shirt. He felt his hands become clammy and sweat drip down his hair. If Eddie had read the letters, which Steve knew Eddie did, how come ‘Freak’ Munson was so calm about it? Was he just acting normal for the sake of Steve Harrington? Why wasn’t Eddie freaking out as much as Steve was?!
“Spit it out, Harrington.” Eddie’s voice boomed in the small space between them, surprising Steve so much that he nearly jumped out of his skin. “You’re creeping me out with all of your staring.”
“I’m creeping you out?” He let out a breathy chuckle, pointing his index finger between them. “I’m not the one acting so calm right now!”
“Why? What’s happening now?” Eddie turned to face Steve, his mischievous mannerisms instantly dropping. His eyes were full of fear, and Steve could see his hands shaking. Vecna seriously fucked up Eddie Munson. He fucked up everyone.
