Summary
The tale of the years that followed the Mystery Twins' unforgettable first summer in Gravity Falls, because I know we've all been waiting years for a sequel so they can finally grow up with us. The story has a major focus on mystery/paranormal investigation as well as growing up/slice of life. Intended for an older audience than the source material as it will contain more graphic violence and typical teen behavior.

"Suddenly, he’s jostled awake. He blinks his eyes tiredly at Mabel, who is shaking his arm and squealing excitedly, “Dipper, Dipper! We’re almost there!” Her cheeks are rosy and she’s got a huge smile on her face as she quickly turns around to press back against the window once she sees that he’s awake. He can’t help but smile back, both at her enthusiasm and that at last, after an excruciating school year back in California, they’re back. He cranes his neck, looking past her shoulder and watching the tall trees whisk past the window. Then the bus stop comes into view, and he thinks his heart swells to three times its normal size. Summary
Dipper knew from the start that this wasn't a good idea. That this person — this man, Colton, who he barely knew — wasn't good for him. That it was inappropriate, even, for the interactions between them to happen the way they did.
He knew that the way Colton spoke to him was gross. Bad. Something far too 'grown-up' for him, a twelve-year-old, to be exposed to.
But it also— He didn't— The way Colton spoke to him was weird. Different. Good different.
or, Dipper trusts the wrong person, and things go south quickly.
