Summary
A campaign of sabotage against the RED mercenaries has them stand on edge as they try to figure out who or what is going after them. Spy takes the lead on the investigation, and quickly finds out that BLU isn't behind it.
In the midst of all this, Scout learns the truth about his parentage, which, as suspected, does not help.
Spy hopes this is the only mistake from his past that comes to bite him in the ass. Let sleeping dogs lie, they say. Sometimes, they wake up on their own.

Update May 26th, 2025: I am SO sorry for going MIA for an entire year. Right after i posted the last update I lost both my apartment and my job. Dw, I am safe now but it's been a tough year. Slowly working my way towards finishing this fic again. Thank you all for your support. It has meant a lot to me <3

Meanwhile, Tim and Sasha meet for the first time when a Mr. Fairchild chases Tim into her arms while riding the shoulders of a rampaging giant robot as a business partnership strategy. Turns out surviving ironically named automatons makes for fast friendship.

Spy was an enigma, shrouded in mystery, hidden behind layers of personas and well crafted lies he'd built up from all his years as an assassin. He's kept his secrets locked behind his facade, tried his damndest to keep his true feelings bottled up, lest it came back to bite him in the arse. And in a way, it did.
He was a 48 year old man, brought to the brink of an emotional meltdown by his 27 year old son. His son, his Jeremy, his dumb, beloved boy.
