She used to dream about situations like this: how it would be just Conrad and her. When she was younger they’d been fantastical - locked in a room with no one able to find the key, handcuffed in the back of a car, stranded on a desert island. Later, after she grew up and they dated they crystallised into more realistic scenarios- stuck in loops of traffic, delayed in an airport, sat on the tarmac. Taylor laughed at her once, telling her how funny it was to daydream about spending time with someone she was actively dating. She couldn’t help it, she was always looking to get him alone.
