Summary
Wilbur's not really anything like Quackity.
He isn't as kind and level-headed as Quackity. He seriously only recently stopped smoking with the help of Quackity and the support group his friend introduced him to. He doesn't have that twinkling gaze Quackity does.
And he really doesn't want to take it away from him.
So, yes, he's stressed. Worrying about what Quackity's parents will think of the people he hangs out with, what they think of Wilbur and his black ripped jeans.
It only gets deeper because Wilbur likes Quackity. As in more then a friend. He blushes at any smile and compliment, he smiles back with adoration. He wants to have Quackity, to hold him, to feel his heart against his chest and be able to love him.
But he can't, because his hands have gained some dirt over the course of his twenty-five years, and he doesn't want to leave a stain on Quackity, near perfect and bright. He doesn't want to leave anything too permanent.
or, Wilbur and Quackity's relationship (and other things) over the past (almost) three years up until Wilbur meets Quackity's parents, as planned and stays the night, as planned (not everything goes to plan, though)

In less than a week, he is forced to not only spend two whole weeks in his old bedroom, which was probably left the same the last time he saw it—the only difference will be a thick blanket of dust covering all his belongings—but also introduce them to a partner he lied about having.
He’s hopeless. He doesn’t have a single clue where he should look for his target, who would be willing to pretend to be with him for two painfully long weeks.
Well, there is a certain person Charlie can ask.
or, Charlie needs to find somebody who will pretend to be his boyfriend while he visits his parents, and Mariana happens to be the best person to go with.

Thankfully, Roier only shoots him a puzzled look. “It’s Christmas, and I’m at the mall as an elf. I love it here! I love seeing kids and their parents smile when I spread the joy. I love Christmas. Don’t you?”
Cellbit forces himself to look away. “I’m not doing this for any other reason than the money. I just needed a job,” he explains a little impatiently. “It’s just for the holiday season; I don’t actually care about Christmas.”
And Roier looks floored.
“You don’t care about Christmas?!”
Or: It’s Christmastime, and Cellbit getting fired from his job lands him in a mall, stuck playing Santa with the holiday-obsessed mall elf Roier who won’t let his new coworker get away with half-assing his role as Santa Claus.
