Sam finishes the trials, expecting to die. Instead, he gets a life that sounds idyllic - the demons locked away, the angels gone (mostly), and Dean by his side.
All he has to worry about is the various monsters attempting to fill the power vacuum; a too-empty bunker; his own deteriorating mental health; Dean’s dive back into alcoholism; and not getting enough sleep (even for him). Oh yeah, and that pesky fact that his dreams are starting to seem a little bit too much like visions. He can handle it. He can.
(Sometimes he can’t.)
If this is healing, Sam sure doesn’t want to know what deterioration looks like.

Summary
A few weeks after Sam managed to turn a ridiculous situation to his advantage (literally being offered as a sacrifice to a pagan god, because apparently this is his life), Coyote turns up at Stanford to keep his end of the bargain: that is, handing over the yellow-eyed demon responsible for Mary Winchester’s death. Getting back in touch with Dean and Dad to end their vengeance quest changes things for the better. So does settling down in a house off-campus with his brother and his new friends - Jo, Jess, and Charlie, and an annoying pagan god who keeps popping up to get on Dean’s nerves. But the apocalypse is not to be so easily derailed… and why does Coyote refuse to lend a hand?

good shit: when the characters they were protecting only find out about any of this when the character collapses from the injuries they’re trying to hide
GOOD SHIT: when the characters they were protecting frantically perform first aid/transport them to receive medical care, insist on staying by the character’s side until they wake up, then nurse them back to health

Summary
On his 40th birthday, Dean Winchester suddenly begins to worry that he may have lost his chance for a real mate. He's been so focused on his business as a 24-hour roofing and repairman, that he's never taken the time to date properly, or even make any lasting friendships outside of his family. Beginning in their late 30's, alphas and omegas start to lose their mating and bonding hormones, making it more difficult - and often impossible - to mate or bond with anyone past a certain age. But as a modern Alpha, Dean would be content with a companion, at least. Blood bonds aren't the be-all, end-all. However, after a late night emergency roofing repair call from Castiel Novak, Omega, Dean starts to hope. Yearn. The only hangup is that Castiel admits to being as old-fashioned as the books he teaches. Nervous to go against his religious upbringing by being with someone who he can't bond properly, as alphas and omegas are intended to do. But he can't deny his attraction to Dean, and despite his sensibilities, he thinks that, just maybe, he can change for the man he's falling in love with.

Summary
Jensen’s been dating OMC for awhile and they seem perfect. So when OMC starts asking for a family, J1 gets swept up in the promises of domestic bliss.
Once he's actually pregnant though, things change. It's a hard pregnancy and Jensen’s sick as a dog morning, noon and night, every single day. It doesn't take long for OMC boyfriend to be finding excuses to be out of the apartment as much as possible, eventually doing a complete fade out
Jensen isn't taking very good care of himself. He ends up getting too dehydrated and faints in the hallway of their apartment building. His neighbor, Jared gets him the hospital and stays with him.
Somehow this gets cute and comforty and ends up with an eventual and happy J1/J2 ending.

Rock & roll J2 AU, and while it has moments of angst, it's mostly fun. Jared is a singer, with big time aspirations and a huge crush on the drummer of Thunderbird Wine, Jensen Ackles. Coincidentally, Thunderbird Wine's singer goes off the rails, and the label wants him gone. The band needs someone for 12 shows and an album to fulfill their contract. Think shirtless, sweaty, tights, hair extensions, and living on a bus with a Machiavellian manager, a ferociously cheerful bassist, a lead guitarist who’s more than a little rodeo and the prettiest damn drummer in the industry.
