prompted by this tumblr post, which was obviously about Gabriel. it says:
good shit: when a character with a reputation for being selfish and uncaring gets injured while doing something to protect others
good shit: when they pretend they’re not injured and did nothing to protect anyone, because they want to keep up that selfish reputation
good shit: when the characters they were protecting only find out about any of this when the character collapses from the injuries they’re trying to hide
GOOD SHIT: when the characters they were protecting frantically perform first aid/transport them to receive medical care, insist on staying by the character’s side until they wake up, then nurse them back to health

Summary
The Winchesters always complicate things. Feelings and loyalties in particular. Finding yourself fighting against them in a civil war doesn't help.
A year after the end of the fighting Castiel is no longer a knight. He drifts though life, purposeless and ashamed, not even knowing whether Dean and Sam are still alive. Until Dean turns up, cocky as ever and even more prosperous, with an offer from the Princess of the land.
And perhaps the fighting isn't over yet after all...

It's a narrative impossibility that this could fail."

Summary
This series started out with nice straightforward Stanford-era 'sacrifice the virgin Sam to the pagan god who is secretly Gabriel' porn.
... then it grew plot.
Covers loosely the events up to Lucifer’s rising, if Gabriel and Sam had already accidentally thrown a horny pining spanner in the works. Things happen at the wrong time and differently to how either side expected - and if you thought you knew all the ways in which Gabriel is a manipulative unscrupulous sneakster, well, he may surprise you yet.
Involves a whole bunch of polyamory, including Jess, Jo, and Charlie, in addition to the usual suspects. Also for some reason Castiel rescued a baby otter, because I am not the boss of him.

The main fic is basic a series of antagonistic stand-offs between Gabriel and Sam, which leads to a variation on the canon ending of season 11 (plus, you know, some sex, because obviously).
The timestamp is a spin-off of that variation which involves not only Mary but Charlie being brought back to life

Summary
Dean Winchester was happy to leave the pain of high school behind and move to California to be with his best friend, Cas Novak. Ten years later, the past is dredged up again when he receives an invitation to his high school reunion. He's reluctant to attend because, while he's been successful in many areas of his life, he's yet to settle down with a romantic partner. Cas offers to attend with him, and after they are mistaken for a couple multiple times, suggests that they could pretend to be a couple for the reunion. Dean is only too happy to agree. During their week in their hometown, a series of events pushes both Dean and Cas to closely examine the feelings they've pushed aside for years.
