    Midoriya Izuku's dreams were shattered on the rooftop that day. Worse, none of the pros seem to believe that a quirkless nobody could ever be a hero. They're probably right, but he's still determined to try, especially since the heroes don't seem to be doing all that great at their jobs anyway. Izuku will do whatever it takes to save people, even if that means coming into contact with several shady characters for help. His methods might be a little strange, but in a world determined to shut him out, he has to make do with what he can.
    Oddly enough, the only people able to accept him are villains. So when his world starts to crumble, why wouldn't he join them?

    Yagi Toshinori watched the green haired boy walk away after saving his friend and shook his head. While the boy's actions were heroic, he was just too reckless. He walked in the opposite direction, thinking about a time he could meet the candidate Sir Nighteye put forward.

    Izuku Midoriya goes home and decides that, even if he can't be hero himself, he can still help them with his analysis. Cue Izuku catching the attention of multiple heroes who are a little more open-minded and willing to see the potential in a quirkless kid.

    “Honestly Deku, I really couldn’t care less that you have a girlfriend.”

    Silence fell upon the room as Izuku gave him a look he couldn’t quite decipher. “...What are you trying to say?” Izuku finally questioned after several moments, carefully.

    Shit.

    Katsuki has been pining for years after Izuku. He's softened up a bit, bankrolled a hero suit for the nerd, and gives lectures at UA whenever Izuku requests it. So when what he thought was a dream they shared doesn't pan out like he'd planned, life goes in a direction Katsuki never would've expected.

    A story told over five acts which leans heavily into the pain of three characters, with Katsuki's anguish being the focal-point. The happy ending and eventual comfort to the hurt exists for everyone, no matter how bleak things may seem at times, but this story will be gut-wrenching to read most of the chapters. If you aren't at least a bit of a masochist, this fic is probably not for you. You have been warned.

    Oh, and the title of the fic is in part inspired by the song Scorpio Rising by Soccer Mommy, and also in part by, well, astrology.
