But the touch is familiar. Too familiar. Hikaru, his Hikaru had done something like this before, the slight similarities caused a weird feeling to twist in Yoshiki’s stomach.
“I have ‘em all in my memory,” Hikaru murmurs, his voice even softer now. “But I wanna see ‘em for myself… I want to make a constellation.”
Yoshiki's body doesn’t know what to do. His instincts scream to run, to shove Hikaru away. To scream that this isn’t right, deny any and all touch from him. But he stays like there's something there that’s anchoring him. Like, this is the only place he’s still alive.
This touch, this proximity, it shouldn’t be allowed. Not anymore. Not ever.
He shouldn’t want this.
Shouldn’t crave this.
But he does. And that’s the part that hurts the most.

Understanding human affection isn’t easy. They seem to struggle with it themselves, so it’s no wonder someone like him finds himself confused.
But 'Hikaru' has decided he wants to understand. He probably never will, and Yoshiki said that's okay - but he wants to try. At least enough to live among them, to grasp how these fascinating beings think, feel, act. And love.
And once given a chance, he’s determined to do just that.

Yoshiki was starting to sweat like crazy, the heat pressing down on him so hard it felt like he couldn’t breathe. He unbuttoned his shirt clumsily, peeling his arms out of the damp fabric, the cotton sticking to his skin as he pulled it off.
“Ya...” he let out a tired yawn, the warmth making his whole body heavy and slow.
Something shifted off to his right but he was too out of it to care. His eyes were starting to blur, and the heat was dragging him under like a blanket he couldn’t shake off.

Kunigami’s never really been particularly interested in relationships, in fact, he’s been confessed to from time to time when people got tired of trying to hint their feelings towards the oblivious man. Regardless, he always kindly rejected their confessions. He was busy with soccer, schoolwork, and jumping between different part-time jobs. He was also not really into the idea of jumping into a romantic relationship with someone he barely knew. He thought establishing a close friendship first was important and he didn’t have that at all with anyone who liked him before. Yet, these love letters he’s been receiving caught his interest. He thought they were endearing and wanted to find who the sender was and possibly finally get into his first relationship.

Seems like Nagi remembered that Reo is just a novice at this as much as he is, and just like in the world of soccer, he’s been rapidly advancing beyond Reo’s progress, although they’ve been playing for the same amount of time. The same goes for kissing; Reo notices Nagi improving at an exponential rate quicker than he could have foreseen, and easily outcompetes him at his own game. He was the one who taught Nagi soccer; he was also the one who taught Nagi how to kiss.
