Summary
Usually close-calls don't bother Kinn much; he's used to them. He's significantly more rattled when it's Porsche, and there's really only one way to work off the stress of it all.
Of course it doesn’t take long before Porsche starts fidgeting again. This time he’s obviously putting in effort to restrain himself, yet the way his biceps flex and the minute tightening around his eyes gives him away.
Kinn puts down his glass.
He slowly gets up and lifts a judgmental brow, snapping his finger to make Porsche look at him.
“Get up.”
Instead, Porsche relaxes further back into the cushions and spreads out like a king before his subject. He even puts his feet up on the coffee table, as Kinn walks past and stalks into the bedroom.
“Make me.”

Porsche's heart thuds unpleasantly in his chest and he swallows heavily, attempting to dislodge the lump in his throat that has formed in record speed. “Like what?”
“When I praise you. I can tell.” Kinn brings his face to Porsche’s until their noses are almost touching, lowering his voice to a quiet rasp. He grins. “You’re a slut for it.”
Porsche knows that Kinn was going to catch on eventually – Porsche has never been the greatest at suppressing his thoughts and feelings, not least in the presence of the most overwhelming person in his entire life. It’s gotten so bad, built up over too many months, that now, even the slightest of appreciatory nods from the man sends Porsche into a sweat, business attire or not.

It was late, well past when Lan Wangji would normally have headed to bed. The only light in the room was the warm glow of the lantern on the desk in front of them, illuminating the hunt notes that Lan Wangji would have graded earlier if Wei Wuxian hadn’t seduced him into bed immediately after their return from dinner. It was a chilly autumn night, and Wei Wuxian was naked, but he had found the warmest seat possible in Lan Wangji’s lap.

Wei Ying whines, soft and sweet, and drops his gaze, unwilling to entertain this further. But Lan Zhan kisses his neck again, and strokes at his hair, still twisted up against the back of Wei Ying’s head, held in place by his fist.
“You’re not my omega?” he whispers, tightening his grasp on Wei Ying’s hair, directing Wei Ying to look up and meet his gaze in the mirror. “But you submit to me like you’re my omega.”

Wei Ying’s eyes widen in shock. He can feel his heart beating in his chest, frantic and rabbit-quick.
