Summary
Max Verstappen was the complete opposite of Oscar Piastri in how much their secondary gender affected them. Where Oscar managed to control it, Max let it drive him. It was impressive more often than not, and Lando knew well enough that Max was still a person he could get along with, as long as he did it off-track. He couldn’t deny how much it all stressed him at times, though– The way in which Max always seemed slightly more aggressive in his already harsh driving style when chasing him, the way he risked everything just to catch Lando, the neverending games he played with him when on track.
If Lando didn’t know any better, he would’ve assumed it was love, almost.
