Summary
Very capable in their own regards, but both quietly admiring the other's strengths, leads Rachel and König to slowly embrace their attraction towards one another. Their international travels bring threats unknown, forcing both to confront challenges, some König wishes to be left in the past. When the darkness of human nature rears its ugly head, both must choose loyalty in hopes it will restore justice and bring them back together.
This fanwork takes place between MW3 and MW4 (though if you choose to ignore MW3, it can take place after MW2). I took some time away to reevaluate the story because my outline was so long, it would have taken 50 chapters to complete this whole thing. Since the last month I posted, I've edited and come up with a tighter and more congruous storyline. Don't worry though, the chapters that are getting taken down will return in edited forms later on! :)
IMPORTANT: Chapters will be posted out of order on purpose, starting with Prologue, Chapter 1-23, then an epilogue. The title will tell you the chapter number.
