    TL;DR: My cousin and his best friend got into a heated argument because the aforementioned best friend was salty that my cousin was talking about another friend. When my cousin walked away to preserve his feelings, his best friend called him avoidant

    Someone please just tell me what the hell "avoidant" even means. Thanks.

    Edit: I only remembered this a literal second after I already posted it. But it started to rain while they were arguing, and my cousin is now bundled up sick and alone in their apartment. He doesn’t know where his friend is staying. My cousin wants hugs. My cousin is very sad. I think they miss Pang a lot :/

The other being the semi-annual masquerade being hosted this fall, with the implication that girls can come as dates.

    So why doesn’t Ace want that?

    And why doesn’t he want Deuce to find someone?

    A masquerade ball? Usually NRC doesn’t do anything fancy, or any dances at all. Crowley is quite a wildcard, but this budget-blowing ball seems too out of character, even for him.

    And that one little sentence that Ace wasn’t even sure if his eyes read right. 

    Grab a mask, and a date?!

    He reads the poster again to make sure his eyes aren’t playing tricks on him. Then he reads it again. And again.

    This is an all-boys school, so logically, a stereotypical date is assumed to be a girl from another school…

    Either the world was about to end or Crowley finally lost the plot.
