“I’ll just take a look,” he promises, then gives him a chaste kiss on the lips before climbing all the way up.
“Be careful,” Daniel mumbles, and then everything happens so fast and it is so dark he can hardly see what happens. All he knows is he hears a metallic crack from the ladder, then Johnny’s coming down on his back with a loud thud, the ladder falling on top of him.
“JOHNNY!” Daniel shouts and runs to his side. He knows Johnny’s conscious because he can hear his cries of pain, and he doesn’t know if he’s relieved or more worried.

Daniel was a really cool guy. When he wasn’t overloaded with work and deadly karate disputes, he was really fun to hang out with. Worse yet, he was very much like Johnny. Lonely, needy of attention. This could work, perhaps they could be friends after all, forget the past, aim for the future. Johnny would like that.
I saw in another fandom a great idea from a writer who wrote one short story for each day of the month using the 100 ways to say 'I love you' prompts in honour of Pride Month and I decided to jump in! Of course, when I came to, today is June 8th already, but I'll try at least to finish all 30 of them by the end of the month!

Or, the one with all the cheesy fanfic tropes. So, the thing is, I ADORE fanfic tropes. Like, the 'there's only one bed' moment, or the distant relative's wedding invitation, or the lost cabin in the woods.
I never read a lawrusso fanfic of this kind and, as far-fetched as it may seem, I needed them to have this moment. This has been sitting in my computer for months and I'm still really unsure about posting it, but why not, right?
