Summary
They reach for the four of clubs at the same time, but Nikola swats Fedya's hand away as she picks up the retelling of her day. It’s hard enough trying to pay attention to one of the most mind numbingly easy games on its own, but it’s damn near impossible with Nikola going on about who said what and which one of her muscles is sore from overexertion.
Not that she’s an unpleasant distraction. No, it’s quite the contrary.
The worst is when she throws out a leg and gently rolls forward to stretch out her hips, still moving cards and talking all the while. Fedya's eyes stay glued to the solitaire spread between them despite not possessing an ounce of care for it.
Nikola grabs the ball of her foot and leans over to stretch her side, a drawn out sigh spilling from her lips. “You’re bored, aren’t you?”

Summary
When it sinks in that Chuuya wants his marks to be the only ones on Dazai’s body it chips away at the notion he’s moved on from whatever they had. That kind of thing is too territorial for a one night affair with an ex from years ago. It has to be the wine, or the fact that it’s nearing 4am. But losing his sense of self preservation and leaning heavily into this new revelation, Dazai presses a chaste kiss to the corner of his bloody mouth.
“Your marks are the only ones that matter to me.”
Chuuya’s grip loosens, but his next statement is spoken as if he doesn’t know how to respond to the display of tenderness. “I’m going to demolish you.”
With a smile, “Do your worst.”
(Or where Dazai drags Chuuya to a bar in France to celebrate escaping prison and criticizes his acting until Chuuya gives him a private performance)

Growing up knowing she was destined to be the next princess to face the Calamity led Zelda to live a life ruled by fate. It was her responsibility to the kingdom and her Goddess-given role to fulfill. But according to the legend, she was supposed to have a knight at her side.
(Or where Zelda is sent on a mission to retrieve her chosen knight, only to find that he's been hiding on the outskirts of Hateno as a vigilante swordsman, pretending to be a construction worker named Linson, and achieving some unorthodox engineering feats) -
