"Fushiguro Megumi was killed in the line of duty. Eight Special Grade Curses were exorcised and five of Ryoumen Sukuna's fingers were retrieved. You must be proud, Gojou Satoru."
He should've been there. It was supposed to be a joint mission between him and Megumi. If he had been professional maybe Megumi wouldn't have died.

There is only one person who would try to barge into his room at such an hour, and he sighs, all traces of sleep evaporating as he gets off the bed.

Megumi blinked in hesitation, raising his palm in greeting next. “Hi.”
