    Summary

"A small part of him must have known it was inevitable. Maybe that was why, when a memory of his time with the Dursley’s came up during Harry’s Occlumency lessons with Snape, he simply stared back at the man with defiance in his eyes after the spell was canceled."

Every moment has the potential to snowball into something that will change the course of history. If you can't see the future, how will you know the change is positive?

THIS WORK IS ON INDEFINITE HIATUS
I’ll come back to this fic some day, but I’ve changed a lot as an author since *checks notes* 2019, and I’m probably going to do a decent amount of rewriting. I appreciate all the comments you guys leave, but at the moment my head just isn’t in the HP universe, partially because of JKR.

    Summary

    Harry Potter dies.

    Again.

    Death is not pleased.

After seven failed timelines, one mountain of paperwork and a signed Form 734B, Harry is sent back to the age of nine with all his memories intact and a chance to do things differently.

This time, Harry intends to ask questions.

This time, he intends to read the fine print.

And this time, Death would really appreciate it if he stopped dying.

My take on the Reptilia28 challenge.

Following the disastrous Third Task, Harry begins to notice two things about himself. First: his appearance has begun to change. Second: something is very, very wrong. The Cruciatus shouldn't continue to be causing him pain this far out from having received it, should it?

    Summary

Hermione Granger watched the war take everything, and then she did the one thing she swore she would never do again: she gambled.

With Luna Lovegood, a baby Teddy Lupin, and a half-mad plan held together by grief and grit, Hermione falls twenty years into the past with one mission: destroy Voldemort’s Horcruxes before the Second Wizarding War can ever begin.

The only problem is that time travel does not come with a user manual, Wizarding Britain is a political minefield, and Hermione needs protection, access, and a name that opens doors.

Because saving the future might mean rewriting the past.

Enter Sirius Black: infamous, inconveniently charming, and very, very tired of being used as a pawn.

And Sirius Black has never been good at following anyone else’s script.

    Summary

After witnessing Snape's worst memory and confronting Sirius about it, Harry cannot simply go on as if nothing has changed. A bullied child for most of his life, and with his notorious "saving-people thing" gnawing at his conscience, he does the one thing that follows naturally from who he is: he goes to Snape to apologise — and perhaps to find the only person who can tell him that he is not, after all, his father's son.

The other central character of the story is Severus Snape. This is not a story in which he turns out to have been a responsible adult all along, hidden beneath a harsh exterior. He is, instead, a deeply flawed and often unjust one — and so the story is not only about Harry finding someone he can trust, but also about how Severus Snape slowly learns to become that person.

The story deliberately builds on the characters as they are in canon, and follows their development through a more psychological, character-driven approach.
