Kunikuzushi will admit that he freezes. He stares down at the offered hand, then back up at Kazuha, finding him gazing up at him through snowy eyelashes. "Kaedehara...?" he begins hesitantly, swallowing around his heart, which seems to have jumped straight into his throat at some point. "What is this?"
Kazuha's lips quirk up into a tentative smile. "May I have this dance, my prince?"
Or: Prince Kunikuzushi has long resigned himself to spending his evening entertaining his many suitors when his knight and dear friend crashes the ball and boldly asks for a dance, and everything is turned on its head.
