Will gets up so fast he nearly gets dizzy. He turns towards the mirror, and leans over the sink to look closely at the string in his ear.
He looks good; he knows it's so stupid but he feels more himself, more adult with these tiny bits of string in his ears. He can't wait until it heals and he can move on to wearing earrings. Imagine a small diamond in one ear and a dangling cross in the other— he'd look as cool as some of the people on Jonathan's album covers.

Jack and the FBI, to the annoyance of Will, have lent his services as a consultant on this case to the NZ government, where he will be sponsored by the elusive Dr. Hannibal Lecter during his stay. Away from the influence of Jack and Alana, Will has to face this killer’s mind, as well as get to know the mysterious man who he now lives with.
Hannibal isn’t one to shy away from a prize dropped into his lap; Will Graham’s mind, away from the public and prying eyes. More fun than setting Will up to take the fall for his crimes would be convincing Will to join him; how could Hannibal turn away from such a enticing challenge? -

Gwen Stacy hates this fall.
It isn’t even about the fall. Every other time, she knew she would be caught, whether by a web or by Peter himself. Something would be there for her, a line of the thinnest, strongest material on earth, but not this time.
The fall starts in a clock tower.
Of that, Gwen is positive.
One minute, she’s attached to the web, then the line gets cut in the clock’s turning gear, and she drops quickly. The walls around her start to shimmer with a golden glow. Spiderman, reaching out desperately for her, disappears from view.Above her, the sky that was dark ten seconds ago is now a brilliant blue.
