It’s a Sunday afternoon and Akechi Goro is in his shitty apartment, sprawled on his couch, when he makes a horrible discovery.
A re-run of Featherman is playing on his thrifted TV. Mid ad-break, he turns on his phone and sees a very familiar app, sitting there on the home page innocently as though last time it had appeared out of nowhere it hadn’t ruined Goro’s life. He had been sipping on disgusting instant coffee, which he spills all over his pants from the shock.
Not because he’s clumsy, obviously.
His right eye twitches. He opens the app, and reads the words: Amamiya Ren, Tokyo, Shrine.

Summary
The Phantom Thieves have been shattered by the greatest foe: a badly made porn-parody of their exploits. The road to recovery has been long and slow, but they are slowly piecing what remains of their sanity back together, because they are at least able to be secure in the notion that there is no possibility that anyone would ever make a sequel. And they're right.
It's really more of an extended cut.
