Jay doesn't think Jungwon should be glad to have him here. No one should be.
His presence isn't a blessing, it's a curse.
There's something familiar about the way Jungwon's gaze lingers on him after he bids goodbye though, like he's trying to say something without saying it.
Maybe all the roads Jay has travelled have led him right here, and maybe, not everything has to end in tragedy.

Or, not exactly. Jungwon’s pretty sure Jay is just as competent as he always was, only now, and this is where Jungwon’s stupid brain comes in, now Jungwon is so keenly aware of it that it’s like fucking enlightenment.
Except, his enlightenment consists solely of seeing everything Park Jongseong can do, and how he just keeps fucking doing it.
