Summary
For the longest time, we’ve known that the storm destroys nearly everything it touches. The only way to survive is to be in an immunity zone or be the Foundation’s Timekeeper. That was the only way for anything to survive. Of course, we weren’t prepared for that assumption to get thrown on its head. How could we have predicted that the ‘storm’ would leave something unexpected behind one day instead?
Even the Timekeeper wasn’t prepared to see someone else standing across from her as the rain finished climbing into the sky. How would one prepare for coming face-to-face with a mirror of themselves, especially one with so many cracks?
