When Luca starts staging at a restaurant in New York, he’s convinced that he hates his fellow stage Carmen Berzatto, but suddenly, that confidence in his hatred starts to dwindle as he becomes more infatuated with him.

"You, uh-" Carmen starts, his eyes stuck on the ground in front of him, "It's not an issue with your technique. Your ice cream isn't firm enough, so it'll never hold the quenelle." He says it like clockwork, as if he's reading directly from a cookbook. God knows how many of those he probably has memorised from back to front.
There's silence for a second, Luca is having a staring contest with the puddle of melted ice cream on his plate. He tries not to shake his head in disbelief and irritation, Carmen is right. He's right, and Luca wants to punch him in the face.

It's silent, and the sound of Luca's quickened breathing is almost deafening. "You should have called me," he states, the grip of his hand on Marcus' hip tightening. Marcus can feel the motion of him shaking his head. It isn't sharp, but it still cuts. A sense of anger lingers in his voice. Not at Marcus, at least. Angry at himself, maybe? For not being there. Which isn't fair.
"I didn't call anyone, really, if that means anything to you."

"I think you were daydreaming," Imogen giggles, pulling a slightly embarrassed face, "Sorry for being so annoying." She leans in, long blonde hair falling in front of her eyes messily. She lifts her hand and pushes the strands behind her ears and now her face is fully in view.
She's so close.
Sahar can barely form a coherent sentence when she properly focuses on Imogen's face. The hot summer sun beats down on the, through the window, and she's suddenly overcome with the urge to lean in and break the distance between the two of them. Her eyes flick down for a few seconds, briefly looking at Imogen's lips, before she closes her eyes and turns onto her back. She shakes her head, "You're not annoying. Never."

I'm completely zoned out in English. Usually it's my favourite subject, and one that I get consistent A's in. But today, Imogen's irritatingly nice hair is distracting me. I'd heard her mention something about getting it cut when she was at my house the other day, but I hadn't thought much of it. But I can't seem to take my eyes off of it now. I liked her hair before, and I always told her that, as any good ‘gal pal’ would. But now it somehow looks even better, even more like silk. My mind is doing serious overtime imagining how it would feel to thread my fingers through it.
"Sahar?"

"What are you thinking about?" Sahar asks. She props herself up on the bed beside Imogen. She's wearing an oversized boygenius t-shirt. Her hair is wrapped in a blue towel, but a few strands have lazily fallen out. She must've just taken a shower, Imogen presumes. Her face looks fresh and awake, unlike how Imogen's must be right now. But Sahar doesn't seem to care. She leans in to give Imogen a soft kiss before leaning on her shoulder.
"Just wondering what I would've thought ten years ago if I was told that this is what my life would end up becoming."

Imogen unwillingly leans back from the kiss, slowly. She takes in the features of Sahar's face, keeping her pinned up against the door. "Why wouldn't you kiss me at Nick's?" She questions, her mouth slightly open, blue eyes twinkling with confusion, perhaps even upset.
Sahar licks her lips and looks Imogen up and down. She smirks. "Because I couldn’t do this.”

The neon light seeps into the room at 11:58pm. The door smashes open, the music gets loud again. She closes her eyes for a second before opening them again. It's Imogen.
She's stood in the doorway, the colours from behind light her up. Radiant. Just like at prom, they've been walking on a fine line ever since.
"Sahar," Imogen says, her voice softening.

"I cannot... I simply cannot do this," Mobius says, his voice hoarse and now trembling.
"Pardon?”
Mobius finally looks back up at Loki, studying his face for a few seconds. He looks so wounded, dejected, worried for Mobius. Here he is, baring his entire heart and soul, and Mobius is really about to do this to him? He hates himself, he hates himself so much.

Mobius then lies back, allowing Loki's words to linger in the air for a second. He stares at the ceiling as he speaks, "I was wondering where we'd live. I thought perhaps New York, though that feels silly now after what you have just said," Mobius turns to look at Loki briefly, who urges him to continue, "I thought that I might be a historian, you'd probably be a lawyer. And then I just wondered how we might've met, like at a dinner party through a mutual friend or something. It was nice, to think about just having a normal life."
Loki scoffs then, "Who wants a normal life?"
Mobius then turns again to lie on his side so he can rightfully argue with Loki in protest, "I do!"
// Mobius and Loki spend a quiet morning together in bed whilst Mobius tells Loki about what he thinks their life on the sacred timeline would be like.
Spoiler Alert: They can’t ever have a normal conversation without disagreeing.

There's mere inches in between them now. Mobius can feel Loki's heavy breaths on his face, and his hands that were once firmly planted in the lapels of Loki's jacket are beginning to falter due to his intense stare. He wonders whether Loki can hear the sound of his heartbeat because he knows that he definitely can, and he can feels his palms becoming sweaty and his vision is starting to blur, so he does it.

Sahar's hands tense up for a split second after she hears those words, but Imogen doesn't notice because of how brief it was, "Who is it? You haven't mentioned anyone."

A mysterious secret admirer is leaving letters in Will Byers locker. Every single day. Inside a purple envelope and written in messy, but also unusually pretty, handwriting. The group are eager to find out who this potential suitor could be, however Will doesn't seem to excited about it. This is because he is holding a massive secret, he likes boys. So even if they are able to find it out, no way is it beneficial to him.
However, it never crossed Will's mind that it wasn't a girl.
And it definitely didn't cross his mind that it could potentially be his best friend, Michael Wheeler.
