The voice on the other end was undeniably young, and he knew instantly that this was a child, no older than 13 by the sound of it, that was on the other line. He glanced around, but he couldn't see anyone else around, even when he flared his quirk, so it was unlikely that the child was nearby. But that left the question: how did they reach him, and how were they seeing him?
For now, he decided to play dumb, as much as he hated doing so. "What are you talking about? Who is this?"
The child was silent, only the sound of stuttered breaths and frantic typing filling the line. After a moment, the child took a deep, shaky breath. "I k-know you're Eraser, an-nd that you're f-following Miss Joke, but it's a t-trap!"

Izuku doesn't really have anything going for him, so why wouldn't he reach out to the leader of the infamous Underground Association-Eraser?

Summary
Izuku survived All For One.
He didn't seem particularly happy about it.
Shōta expected pain. He expected fear, anger, grief. Anything that came with waking up in a hospital and realizing the Quirk you'd spent years destroying yourself for was gone.
He didn't expect an apology.
He didn't expect Izuku to look at him like surviving was something he needed to be forgiven for.
And he definitely didn't expect Toshinori to walk into the room and prove exactly who taught him that.
One For All was gone. Shōta could live with that.
What he couldn't live with was the realization that somewhere along the way, the Symbol of Peace convinced a Quirkless kid that becoming a hero meant being willing to die.
Shōta intended to correct that mistake.
