Logan knows he is there long before he opens his eyes. His familiar smell hangs in the air all around him, has been there even before Logan fell asleep, growing heavier now with every passing minute. It feels like a cage of familiarity all around him. Logan can hear his steady heartbeat and the rustling of his clothes whenever he moves, his steps almost silent despite the heavy boots Logan remembers him always wearing. He moves like he owns the place, leisurely, unhurried, without any care or worry. Big, catlike predator, ready to pounce.

Paradox rubs his eyes. "My higher-ups giving you that TemPad was a mistake," he groans. "You were only supposed to use it for emergencies."
"This is an emergency. I need your help."
The man stares for a second then gives a bark of unhappy laughter. "My help?"
"Yep. I need to find Logan. You can look him up and tell me where he is, and I'll be out of your perfect coif faster than you can say 'Waystar Royco.'"
"Mr. Wilson." Paradox folds his hands and looks square in Wade's eyes. "Everything I have learned about your love life today has been strictly against my will. Even if I could help you locate your hapless paramour, I would rather have my balls ardently fondled by a lobster than be involved in this for one second longer than I have to be."
(In which Logan tries to deal with a problem the way he's always dealt with it, Wade finds himself in a situation he doesn't understand, mutual misunderstandings fly wildly, and Mary Puppins saves the day.)
