October, 1988
'But the clown called to him from behind, a little more desperate sounding than it had before.
“You sure you don’t want your boat back?” The clown asked, “I’m sure Billy wouldn’t be too happy that you lost it.”
He stopped in his tracks.
The clown’s voice was convincing, almost a little authoritative like his dad was when trying to convince him to do something he ought to, like the chores.
He couldn’t quite remember whether he’d told the clown his brother’s name but if he was to take the boat back, what could the clown do? He’d simply get the boat back and run home. And this could be one of those stories that Bill could write about or draw a comic about. And they’d be able to laugh about it later. He needed to get back anyway, Bill would maybe have an answer for him about why they called boats 'she' and maybe time would fly by like it sometimes did when he was having fun because then Bill would be able to come out and play like he promised.
He just needed to get the boat back.'

Summary
On October 14th, Richie Tozier disappeared. He went missing from his bed in Derry, and was nowhere to be found in the surrounding area.
On October 14th, Mike Wheeler disappeared. He went missing from his home in Hawkins, and despite his family searching the woods, there was no sign of him.
On October 17th, Mike Wheeler was found in the woods outside of Hawkins, seemingly having suffered head trauma. He insisted his name was "Richie Tozier", and continued to ask for someone by the name of "Eddie Kaspbrak".
On October 17th, Richie Tozier was found in the Barrens, missing his glasses, and seeming disoriented. He showed no sign of recognizing his friends and family, and continually asked to be taken to Hawkins, Indiana. There is no record of such a town existing.
“An answer gone unanswered will be answered in a parallel universe. Existence is classified in unrecorded dimensions.”

Summary
This takes place after season 3 of Stranger Things and within the 27 years between IT chapters!
After the events that transpired at the Starcourt Mall paired with everything that had happened prior The Wheeler's have decided to move out of Hawkins to a small town in Maine. What they didn't know is that the town they had chosen happens to be home to Karens ex husband Wentworth and Mike's twin brother Richie.
Did I mention Richie neglected to tell the Losers that the family he would go to visit in Indiana happened to include an identical twin? Because he totally forgot to.
