Kakashi Hatake was severely depressed since he entered his teenage years and couldn't cope with it so he started to run away with drinking, partying and doing other stuff just to don't think about his life.
Everything changes after he drunk-kiss some unknown guy at one party and shit ton of things just starting to happen to him as Rin secretly texting with a boy.
Or
Kakashi is just stupid and depressed, Obito jumping into his life is annoying him on every step and Rin try to reconcile them for half of the book.
