Filling in the gap between Forever and a Day and Birds of a Feather (s3e2 - s3e3).
It is very in character for Belly and Jeremiah to jump straight back into their relationship after the proposal (look at S2, they went from not talking to being together in 5 days). But let's not pretend there isn't a whole lot of hurt and emotions that still need to be dealt with.
If the show won't let us inside Jeremiah's head, we'll write it ourselves.

This is a love story, but it’s also the coming of age story I needed and wanted from s3 but didn’t get. It’s about two people who make mistakes, grow from them, learn to stand on their own, and ultimately choose each other again and again. Because love should be a choice. Not one based on nostalgia and empty symbols, but one you make with clear eyes and a steady heart and nothing holding you back.
