Summary
Shen Yuan knows, and has already accepted, that Liu Qingge will be separated from him. His heart aches, his thoughts burn with the truth of it. Liu Qingge is destined for something, for people far greater than what Shen Yuan could ever provide, ever be. Liu Qingge will leave him someday and forget Shen Yuan.
Despite already knowing it, Shen Yuan still gets surprised when it finally happens:
“Your father and I want you to be happy. You know we do,” Shen Yuan's mother starts. She gives him a small smile. “We think it’s time you get married.”

Summary
Shen Qingqiu takes it upon himself to teach Luo Binghe a rather important skill.
Shen Qingqiu feels the moment Luo Binghe is about to surge against him, and immediately grabs Luo Binghe’s face with one hand. He squishes Luo Binghe’s cheeks, holding him still as he draws back.“Shizun,” Luo Binghe complains, but Shen Qingqiu squeezes his fingers tighter. It makes Luo Binghe’s lips push out like a puckered fish.
“I am trying to teach you something,” Shen Qingqiu says, his ears growing hot. “Please pay attention.”
“This disciple begs your pardon,” Luo Binghe’s voice is muffled in Shen Qingqiu’s iron grip. “But he would like to know what he is learning, so that he can take the appropriate notes.”
