He’s right there. Tall, tanned, handsome. He’s filled out more since Jake last saw him, biceps thick against his black tee. A silver chain glints around his neck, where damp strands of black hair curl at the nape.
“Jake.”
“Heeseung.” Jake whispers. The air seems too quiet, he can’t even hear the ocean. Just his own heartbeat thundering in his ears. The heat isn’t bothering him, but he can feel his cheeks warming up, hot with…what? Anger, nerves, something else?
Heeseung doesn’t seem to know what to say, either. He just pulls his bags out of the trunk and shuts it with a little more force than necessary. “Good to see you.”
Twelve years ago, Jake and Heeseung made a promise. Two years ago, Heeseung broke it. Now, Jake is facing it.

Jay hasn’t given him much time to adjust, and the dull burn he leaves behind is painful but welcomed. It’s a stark reminder that Jay’s fucking him again, leaving a trace of himself as he digs his fingertips into Jungwon’s waist and carves marks into his skin with his teeth.
“You’re fucking mine, Jungwon.” Jay pants hotly against his skin, voice raspy. He’s always had a proclivity for filthy sex talk.
“Don’t say that.” Jungwon whispers, averting his eyes. “Don’t say that cause after this you’re just gonna leave me again.”

His one and only friend is Jaehyun, the adopted son of one of the maids of the royal family, who grows up to be his best friend and valet / personal servant. Younghoon loved Jaehyun, and he firmly believed Jaehyun was the only person in his life who truly loved him. That is, until Younghoon's coronation, when Jaehyun stops the ceremony and confesses to being a spy from another kingdom that had presumably been destroyed/fallen years ago, and that the past 10, 15 years were nothing but lies to gain Younghoon's trust.
