Summary
Clairvoyant.
A person who claims they can see spirits or ghosts, also known as mediums or psychics. Or sensitive, as Quinn Hughes had heard being used to describe him multiple times when he was younger.
It wasn’t meant to be an insult; it was just the easiest way to explain why he was claiming to see things, or people, that weren’t there. Especially when the excuse of him being a toddler didn’t pass anymore. So, it was a childhood full of hearing:
“I’m sorry. Quinn’s just a bit sensitive.”
“Quinn, you’re just being sensitive. There’s nothing there.”
Or whatever other phrasing his parents could use to explain why their oldest son was crying about seeing ghosts.
--
Or what happens when Quinn changes teams and must let his new teammates know about his ability to see ghosts?

“You changed your mind about us.”
Mack went still.
Will heard his own voice, steady only because anger was the only thing holding it upright now. “That’s exactly what happened and you didn’t know how to say it. At least not without breaking my heart.”
“Will,” Mack said, and his voice was rough enough that it almost made Will flinch. “No.”

“What was that all about, dude? Since when are you a fan of Spider-man?”
“I just think he’s cool,” Will had shrugged, “and that guy’s an idiot. He’s just jealous that Spider-man pulls more than he does.”And, well… that was just untrue. But he wasn’t about to let Will know that.
“You think he pulls?”“I mean, it’d be weird if he didn’t,” Will had laughed, “have you seen the way the dude’s built? Plus he has the whole ‘superhero’ thing going for him, right? People usually find that hot.”
His tone was casual, but the blush had not budged from his face.
“Yeah,” Mack had simply agreed, giddyness bubbling in his chest, “you’re probably right.”
Will thought he was cool. Will found him attractive. No, hot.
