“This is going to sound really shitty, but I’m glad you’re with me.” It’s not a vulnerable statement, but he feels vulnerable. He shouldn’t be glad she’s here. She should be far, far away and he should be happy about it. “I’d hate to be by myself in this place.”
Another soft rattle of her breath. “I’m glad I’m here, too.”
Robin won’t let Steve go alone. Not even at the end of the world. Especially not at the end of the world.

See, the thing is, Rikki knows Emma. More than knows, even: they’re kind of best friends. One could even say that Rikki maybe, possibly, kind of has the teeniest tiniest crush on Emma. Rikki would call one absolutely psychotic, but they wouldn’t be completely wrong.
Rikki knows Emma. Which means, unfortunately, Emma knows Rikki. She knows her voice, knows her cadence, knows the stupid jokes she makes and the way she tucks her thumb into her hand whenever she makes a fist (something that once made Emma go absolutely crazy and lecture her for hours). If Rikki can pick Emma out of a crowd in an instant, she’s positive the same goes for Emma with her.

My take on Season 4 episodes 2-3 but with a little twist. I really want Jiara angst and with the release of season 4 I thought why not. This is also my very first fic so I'm very excited.Edit: okay I this is now going to be a slight rewrite for the rest of season 4 .This fic starts at episode 2 and will go to the end, with more Kiara and JJ moments.
