Meanwhile, Ryuuji struggles to get over his feelings for Rin and starts to think that maybe being a demon doesn't mean the powerful boy is evil.
Everyone challenges what they've been taught and grows as a person along the way. And maybe some people kiss or something.

She runs at the altar, goes through hell with trauma, learns to love herself, chooses humanity, and chooses Jacob. This is a character-focused and wolfpack-focused fic that leans into the psychological horror potential of Twilight. It is an angsty, agonizing slowburn. The Cullens are not cast in a good light. Dual POV of Bella and Jacob. This is what Breaking Dawn SHOULD HAVE BEEN, to me, anyway.
