Johnny just wanted socks. Good, old, ugly, cotton, brightly-colored, stupid socks. Santa had been a good sport for 24 years already, and truth be told he hadn't been the most grateful child when he dug onto the pile of presents and got his little hands on a bundle. But he was a grown up now, had to pay his student loan, look for a job, share an apartment and socks were one of the few things in life that made him happy.

They have been apart for what felt like a decade, if Taeyong let himself be dramatic, it's was just overall strange, geting used to the presence of someone until you don't remember the uncomfortable stage and all of sudden the same person barely breathing the same air as you. Taeyong let's himself be dramatic a bit more, he doesn't really care, he just hopes Ten still likes his tea green. (He probably does, Taeyong notes, he's just being dramatic, after all.)

They feel familiar and strange at the same time, and he makes a grab for them in an attempt to understand. They almost always slip through his fingers. He never worries, because knows he’ll see them again.
He looks at Jimin and he feels the same way. Something tugs at the deepest recesses of his brain, memories and feelings so distant yet so right they might be from a past life. Jimin has been pulling Namjoon towards him, slowly, slowly, like a bigger galaxy pulling a smaller one into its orbit, inexorably linked.
