Severus Snape never wanted a daughter but even up with one anyways. He was told she came from a powerful lineage but wasn't prepared for her to be a powerful Seer. He thinks he has everything under control until they meet Harry Potter almost a year before their first year.
Harry grew up with his aunt and uncle in a boring town, on a boring street, in a boring house. Well not that boring as they seemed to hate him, calling him a freak, hit him, starve him, and make him sleep in a cupboard. He was just going on with his day, getting ignored by his relatives and prepared to do a long list of chores when two stranger men show up. They take him away and Harry learns what a real bed feels like, what unconditional love feels like. Remus Lupin is his new guardian and reminds him everyday how much he cares for him.
Months later, he starts his first year at Hogwarts where he’s sorted into Slytherin with his two new friends while making new friends. He thinks it’s going to be just as easy as home but Harry never seemed to have the best luck.

Something like a dream floats into his head. A woman laughing as she clutches him close. A man cooing as he cradles his face. He can see himself holding his arms out to a blurred figure, as a woman speaks to him. “Say hi Harry,” she says, “say hi to Uncle Padfoot.”
When Harry blinks back into real life, the man— Sirius Black— is watching him patiently. He has to blink a few times to fully dislodge the fuzzy memory from his view. His eyebrows furrow against his will as he whispers softly, “Uncle… Padfoot?”
or: Harry Potter has strange dreams of kind voices and gentle touches. Dreams that he sometimes gets confused with memories. He grows up with his aunt, uncle, and cousin, but it isn’t Hagrid that rescues him on his eleventh birthday, and so it isn’t the Dursleys he returns to every summer.

Summary
1.
In a parallel reality, Sirius Black never chases after Peter Pettigrew the night the Potters are killed, but instead stays to take care of Harry. He ends up adopting him and raising him together with his partner Remus Lupin. A small change that has a ripple effect on Harry's personality and life.

When fighting off some Death Eaters in the Department of Mysteries, Harry accidentally falls through the doorway between the Time Room and the Space Room and is sent to a parallel universe, switching places with another Harry who grew up with muggles and was Sorted into Gryffindor instead of Slytherin.

Back in his own world, Harry is about to start Sixth Year but is becoming increasingly aware of the up-coming war. At least he has his dads and Draco by his side.

Summary
Sirius doesn't go after Peter Pettigrew on the night that Voldemort kills the Potters, but stays to look after Harry... This means that he is never wrongly accused and incarcerated for the murder of Lily and James, and instead he and Remus Lupin raise Harry as their own.
When it finally becomes time for Harry to start his education at Hogwarts, he has no reason to tell the Sorting Hat not to place him in Slytherin, so he is Sorted into Slytherin and becomes best friends (and later on, more than friends) with Draco.

And what happens to Voldemort now that Pettigrew isn’t there to help him in his ressurection? Will he fade quietly into nothingness, or rear his ugly head, stronger than ever?
This story is told from the perspectives of Daphne, Draco, Harry and Hermione, and is rooted in self-discovery, friendship, family, and of course, love.
