Shadowknights are cold-blooded creatures… literally. They can’t regulate their own body temperatures, and Vylad’s well aware of this, so maybe he should’ve thought twice before trying to accompany Aphmau and her companions to a blizzard-ridden Pikoro?
Aka Shadowknight biology is weird as hell and it results in weird illnesses at inopportune times. Vylad is deathly allergic to being seen as a normal person with normal person vulnerabilities, and a good (bad) sickday is maybe just what he needs to get exposed the hell out of. (With hints of Vylance for fun.)
