Summary
Jack brings Castiel back right after Chuck is taken care of. Hoping Dean isn't too upset with him, Castiel returns to the bunker to find Dean but in a completely different way he's ever seen him. Believing he's the cause, Castiel removes the memory of him confessing his love for Dean in hopes to help the hunter and to keep his best friend.
But it's had a completely different affect than he expected

Summary
Dean was finally took tired to work, to tired to fight with Sammy, and too tired of not having any progress with finding and killing Lucifer. In these realizations Dean decides to take Sammy and himself to Bobby's house to recharge, when one angel drops by in the middle of the night, covered in wounds, and Dean realizes that he won't be resting and relaxing as he had hoped.
(This story takes place int he early episodes of season 5)

Castiel arrives in the bunker injured with wings, unable to send them away to another plane of existence in his lingering distress. Cas's beautiful, jet black wings reflect light as if they were the aurora borealis encapsulated in an array of feathers once Sam helps him tame them, and Dean can't help but feel a lot of things.
Dean uncovers more about angel culture and biology, and quite a bit about feather maintenance.

Screwed didn’t even begin to scratch the top of the iceberg of bullshit this entire week has turned into. I finally manage to move into an apartment, finally get some peace and quiet and suddenly!

And two very wildly, horrifically, attractive tall men standing in said apartment, yelling back and forth to each other in my goddamn living room.

I finally watched supernatural for the first time last year and got maybe 10 episodes in before realizing that this was going to be a problem for me and decided to start writing a fanfic

You and Dean fall in love over the course of season 1-5 where I'm at because I still haven't finished the show (please be patient with me, I have to pause it every five seconds and take a lap because my crush on Jensen Ackles is enough to have gotten me lobotomized in the 1800's) with all the regular monster killing and the Devil from, y'know, the Bible.
