Blue eyes blink through the dark, breeze flowing through the ruff, leaves crunching under light paws that wait, listening and watching for the right moment to strike through the dark of the night, fangs gleaming before taking a life.
Deep in the warmth that was craved, growling turning to groaning, and paws turn to fingers, and fur becomes skin, arms clutching and nails digging into flesh.
Head thrown back and fangs stained with red.
Light of the moon beating down on the bare back, dirt and grime from the ground as howls rang out throughout the forest, echoing by every leaf, none unturned of the sound.

...to say Louis was terrified would make you a complete daft idiot, the chains, and the impending loom of death hung in the air, though the young man was not deterred, his head held down as he was shoved from the deck of a captured naval ship, to a pirate ship to be kneeled on the deck beside the mast along with other captured men and women.
"Heads down and keep them down if you know what's good for you!"
Louis's head remained down as he kneeled and watched the boots of the first mate stalk along the dark wood he kneeled on.
"Malik! Is that all of 'em?"
"Yes Cap' that's all of 'em."
"Good."
Another pair of boots came down the stairs in front of the newly captured prisoners. The captain walked over to the row of men and women, a sword being unsheathed as the captain went down the row, inspecting the prisoners, until he got to Louis.
"And what have we got here?"...

Summary
Harry had just moved to a new place, and was unsure about making friends in his new home. He gets tricked by a rude, cute boy at the marina, and meets Zayn, a nice, yet shy boy, who saves him, but is afraid of water, and Niall, Zayn's sassy, and energetic friend, who is a swimmer.
The three boys end up at Mako Island, a national landmark, and discover a small pool, in an underwater cave in a dormant volcano, and on that same night, their lives change forever.
Or: the one where Harry, Niall, and Zayn are under the full moon on Mako Island, and become mermaids, with magical powers over water, Liam is the best, Zayn is gone for Liam, and Louis is a rich boy that Harry can't seem to get rid of.
