Summary
Finding a kid at a murder scene? Unfortunate, but not entirely uncommon. Many murderers, and burglars that have resorted to violence, either weren’t able to bring themselves to kill the kid, didn’t think there was any use killing the kid, or simply didn’t even know there was a kid to kill and, therefore, it left the officers first on the scene with a nasty surprise of a crying child asking about their dead carer or family member. It wasn’t fun, but it was how the world worked. Parents had kid, murderer kills parents, kid gets interrogated before being finally put in the care system when they have nothing more to say.
However, finding a kid at a murder scene when they have no idea who the murder victim was? That was a new one.

"What do you know? You’re just a robot. An unfeeling machine.” He drawled the last word, elongating the syllables while tapping his temple for emphasis. "You’re not a kid.”
“You’re right. I’m a YK800, model #313 248 317 - 51. I’m a prototype that specializes in self-destructive parents who have lost their child. I have unique features that allows me to adapt to any circumstance that might arise in my mission.”
It's not going very well.

- Connor was fully aware that Hank held a record for the number of disciplinary warnings. He had to constantly remind the other to not perform any actions that would grant him /another/ bullet point in his novel of warnings. Yet, as Gavin and Hank screamed at each other in the middle of the room, Connor found himself going against his usual policy.
He stepped closer to Gavin, and he felt his eye twitch violently.
Connor had an extreme disliking towards /anyone/ that threatened violence on his partner.
A hatred... that definitely gets a little violent.
(Hank and Gavin get into an argument. 'Violence is not the answer' gets thrown out the window.)

“Jesus Christ,” he practically whispered, head thrown back to his headrest in exasperation as the android continued to speak.
“—somewhere that peaks your interest.” Hank finished.
“I’m good.” Connor sniped, hand reaching for the volume knob once again, twisting it to its max capacity, an action he had not meant to do, evident by his flinching at the sudden loud music. Though he made no attempt to fix it.
It was just as well, because Hank had shut off the sound system entirely after that.
Probably not the best idea.

He doesn’t know how it came to this.. Actually, that’s a lie, he has picture perfect memory, but he still isn’t sure why he let it get this far. It started with a seemingly innocent discovery: at 90% thirium, he felt he could operate more efficiently. Without the excess blue stuff clogging his systems, he felt it was easier to move, maybe even breathe. He could feel the extra space in his synthetic veins, the very slight lightness.
