Tyler didn’t know what to say the first time he saw Kate’s scar, so he said nothing. It was an accident that he’d seen it at all (he definitely knocked on the motel door before opening it, it was Kate’s fault she hadn’t heard) so he ignored it.
The second time Tyler saw Kate’s scar was a little more, well, intense.

Summary
Instead of bittersweet memories, Kate had Tyler, the (former) bull rider she’d been wishing for since she was twelve. She had the family they built together.
Tyler, despite the heartache and pain it had caused him, loved the rodeo. He’d spent years mourning the life he lost when he’d decided to quit, but he didn’t have to anymore. He’d built a much better one, and he knew the woman he loved would be by his side for the rest of it.
