""C-Cyno..." he stuttered his name, he was terrified. "Hey Cyno! Its me! Tighnari! Please... snap out of it!" the response was just a growl but it was more ferocious.
He was shaking, his guilt took over him, what have he done? What did Cyno do to deserve this? Is this the price that he have to pay? Tighnari's emotion was mixed with fear and self loathing.
If only i was stronger and more careful enough, none of this would have happened.

Summary
For Freminet, taking the brunt of what he thought was an acid attack aimed towards Spina di Rosula's boss was nothing more than a split second decision. He wouldn't call himself a hero by any stretch of the imagination, and he wouldn't say he led his life with noble and virtuous intentions either...
...but when the urge to help someone comes to him, he ponders little over it. That's just what a good person would do, and Freminet desperately wants to be a good.
Still, maybe he should have paid more attention to just what was being splashed.
OR
Freminet dissolves into water. That really should have been the end of it, but it seems like the ocean wasn't keen on letting him go yet.

Summary
When Tighnari disappears after the supplanting of Grand Sage Azar, Cyno goes looking for him. He's willing to disregard every ounce of his training, every survival instinct, because Tighnari is worth it. Tighnari is worth anything.
After all, there is nothing the General Mahamatra wouldn't do for his only friend—even if if it means risking his own life.
Or: Tighnari is kidnapped by the Fatui and Cyno tries to rescue him, which obviously goes horribly. Very horribly.

Summary
Sumeru had been quiet since Azar and the other sages were ripped from power. Cyno knew, however, that peace was only a facade, a temporary and fragile state of being that could crumble at the slightest disturbance. No, Cyno knew all too well that underneath the mask of peace, was a monster ready to bare its fangs.
While on a routine patrol in the desert, the matra are attacked by a group of mercenaries, earning the attention of the General Mahamatra. With new biological tactics being utilized by the enemy, Cyno seeks out the one person he trusts the most—Tighnari.
Unfortunately, Cyno becoming involved in the investigation only ends up making things worse, for him and possibly even the state of Sumeru.

Tighnari is a botanist who makes a living out of research projects, but with the new global crisis, he finds himself broke and alone, isolated from his friends. Depression gets the best of him and finds relief in unhealthy coping mechanisms.

"I don't want to make anyone a widow," Tighnari said, relentless in his answer. "I don't want my lover to cry for months, even years, after I'm gone. It's not fair," he countered, avoiding Cyno's pleading gaze altogether. Tighnari's heart was beating with a heavy ache, longing for Cyno to understand him. He was filled with fear and uncertainty of his future. Tighnari was scared of what Cyno had said; dying alone, without anyone to comfort you. He knew his heart wanted to love and be loved in return, but the inevitable separation was already too close. It was a constant battle between the heart and the mind. All it knew was that it wanted to find someone it loved, but the fear of death made the heart hesitant to take that first step.
In which, Tighnari has shorter than average lifespan, and Cyno lives up to 700 years. Now that's a dilemma.
