Tape 11
Suspect: Yagami, Light - Day 3 - Audio only.
Subject: Speculative theory - 2:00AMAcross the top of the tape in big, bold letters reads Confession (Do Not Review)
Light sinks down into the leather chair, knees spread. He has one hand around the glass of whiskey, the other resting on his thigh. With careful ease, his hand drifts down and he unbuckles his belt with one hand as the tape goes on. L’s voice is unchanged, almost clinical in nature. It sounds like he’s pacing as he records, sounds like he’s moving through the room like a ghost dragging chains behind him.
”I began suspecting him long before I had reason to. The data supported it eventually, yes… But It was gut instinct, that was there from the beginning.”

Summary
Midorima is struck with an insane amount of bad luck and the only way to fix it? Come to terms with his feelings for Takao and even better, act on them.
---
Midorima blinked. He'd been staring.Takao swallowed before asking, "Is something on Shin-chan's mind?"
Midorima looked out the window and shook his head. He felt the heat on his cheeks and he did the best he could to hide it as he nibbled on another octopus. Takao frowned as he tilted his head a little while chewing. He noticed how Midorima sagged in his seat a bit with a couple strands of his hair sticking out wildly. He reached out to pat the hair down, startling Midorima as he sputtered, "Wh-what are you doing?"
Takao shrugged as he smoothed Midorima's hair down before answering, "Your hair was a mess."
