Summary
Lando has just started university, in busy London far away from his quaint conservative home town. Determined to finally start coming out, he jumps in at the deepend and applies for a job bartending at Sebastian's, a gay bar near his university halls. Surely now he'll be able to experience something physical; actually kissing another man would be a good start.
Charles moved to London from Monaco couple of years ago, he's determined to get a TV acting roll but nothings come up yet... In the meantime he's been been working at Sebastian's and living in the flat above the bar paying a discounted rate. The only drawback is he's sharing with his grumpy coworker Max, who he can't help but keep having sex with despite the fact that he might be struggling not get attached. No worries, he's got some terrible ideas that might just make it a hundred times worse.
Max had been living in Seb's flat since his Dad cut him off after finding out what how Max was living now he was out of Jos' shadow. Now he was left trying to figure out what he actually wanted to do with his life, though really, working and living here had been the best few years of his life. At least it would be if Charles stopped trying to drive him crazy.

Oscar nodded. "Will you stay until the morning?"

“A what?” Charles shouted at him over the music. His eyebrows scrunched up in confusion.
“You know like a witch, for your curse” Charles didn’t look any less confused, perhaps just a little surprised as well. “Of course it’s probably bullshit.”

Rozanov had seen his Patronus on their first day in the field. It had started with a Ministry raid gone wrong, and ended in the waiting room at St. Mungo’s with the first of their many shouting matches, this one over the difference between a mallard and a loon.
“So—” Rozanov gestured to the ruined corridor. “We test rapid message system. Cast dictation spell to write note very fast. Use right owls for area to avoid detection.”
“Right.” Shane could definitely feel a headache starting. “And betting on where they’re going to shit all over the rug is..?”
“Covert operations test,” said Rozanov seriously. “Cannot risk leaving trace of surveillance activities, Hollander. Surely you know this.”
“I—” Shane broke off helplessly. Rozanov always managed to spout the most incredible bullshit while making it seem like Shane was the idiot somehow. “Can I speak to you in your office, please?”
