Summary
When Katsuki wakes, it is to the too-bright halogen glow of the recovery bay lights and an ache set deep in his bones. For a moment he stares up at the off-white stucco ceiling and doesn’t remember why he’s here.
A door stretching up to the sky. Green lightning. A fist deep in his gut.
That was it.
In the wake of the end-of-term exams (and one team-up in particular), some bruises linger deeper than others. No matter what Katsuki would like to think, pressure can only build for so long before something has to give.

“Oh c’mon man, it’s like you’ve never had a sleepover before,” Riot says. He pauses to consider him. “I guess that makes sense, though.”
Katsuki should fucking kill this guy.
What is a sleepover if not two vigilantes breaking into the same abandoned property and both refusing to leave?

Summary
It all started in the summer. Katsuki fell in love slowly, it wasn’t love at first sight, or soulmate bonds, or all the cliche love stories Katsuki has read about before. It was real, it was exciting like nothing he's ever felt before. It was terrifying, exhilarating. It made his heart race, and his head spin. It made him want to yell it from the tallest building, and whisper it into the night. He wanted to let the whole world know, and keep it all to himself. He wanted to hide it away in the darkest corner of his room, shove it in his chest and let the love grow under the sunlight gleaming from his heart.

Shouto had wanted to fall to his knees in front of Katsuki’s body that day. To find proof that Katsuki could still go on living. Dig his hands into Katsuki’s chest and scrape out the scattered pieces of his heart.
Could he have melted them together? Could he have froze them into something new?
“You’re okay,” Katsuki whispers into his ear. Soft and caring in the way only Shouto knows he can be. “Hey, I’m okay. Not goin’ anywhere.”

“God will punish them,”
The vampire tilted his head, raven hair spilling to one side. The corners of his eyes crinkled. “Will he punish you, dear Mizrak?”
