Carlos stretches once more, swinging his arms around, before picking up the phone and looking into the camera again.
Black mask covering his face completely, goggles resting on his head, with his red bomber jacket and hoodie combo securely tucked underneath the repurposed and spray painted red kevlar vest he wears. His eyes are the only thing sticking out and showing who is really under the mask at the moment. If he slides the goggles down and puts up his hood, as usual, he is completely unrecognizable to anyone that knows him personally.
To the public, he is called The Phoenix. Always able to recover from anything, never backing down from a fight. A skilled fighter.

Summary
The crowd is singing along and the smile on TK's face grows impossibly bigger. This is his element and where he shines most. TK is too busy hyping up the crowd to notice the hungry staring from the VIP front row that Carlos can see, though. TK's shirt is off and he's jumping around, waving his arms back and forth to the song and pointing his microphone to the crowd for certain lyrics. He is laughing and enjoying himself . Carlos has never been more in love and can't stop staring or his own smile spreading.

Summary
Fleeing home with his tail between his legs, terrified at possibly ruining his relationship with his family, Carlos Reyes arrives at Camp Champions 2012 for his first summer as a counselor after attending for years as a child. He collects himself before entering and is surprised to find overwhelming support, warmth, and kindness, something that was missing from back home. Just as he starts to think this summer will be a relaxing one where he can take time to forget about his home life, the whirlwind that is TK Strand introduces himself.
After years of putting other's needs before himself, something that had never bothered him before, he decides to take a leap of faith and put his own wants first. TK is there to catch him, affectionately collecting him as a part of the whirlwind, knocking the air out of Carlos' lungs and leaving him wanting more.

Out of almost seven billion people, of course Ilya's soulmate had to be his fated rival. It was almost poetic. Still, Ilya had enough sense to realize just how bad this was.

“I did not … know what happened. You touched over my pants, kissed my stomach. Went into my lap.” Ilya gestures with his free hand like he’s grasping for a word he can’t find, just out of reach. “Something was different.”
Shane can’t say he remembers all that in as much clarity as Ilya does – the whole day is a bit of a blur in his mind.
“We were having fun afternoon. Sex and naps and talking. And then I touched your hair and you went somewhere. Scared me, a little bit.”
Blinking and still not understanding, Shane repeats, “I went somewhere?”
Reaching over, Ilya picks up the booklet. One handed, he holds it against his thigh and flips to a page around halfway through with the word Subspace in bold at the top. He taps it with his forefinger. “Went here, I think.”
Shane experiences a sub-drop without knowing what's happening. Ilya doesn't know either, so he makes it his mission to find out.
