They’d been friends and teammates for six years already. But dating was different. The quiet moments they shared when no one else was around. The way Kiyoomi smiled when it was just for him. The way his lashes fluttered as their lips touched. The way his eyes rolled back in his head when Atsumu was inside him. The way he softly snored as he drifted off to sleep.
Atsumu loved all of it. Everything Kiyoomi brought to the relationship. All the inside jokes and warm hugs and silly texts.
But did he truly love Kiyoomi? Or did he love being in a healthy relationship for once in his life?
Atsumu didn’t want to lose what they had. What they’d built over the past few months, tentative, halting. Atsumu had grown up with a brother, knew how easily fragile things broke. He was terrified of ruining what he had.
