“He needs stability and security. Something he clearly didn’t have until very recently. We’d been thinking about it ever since you got shot. Then he called us, and we’d fully decided but, you just let him go and we thought we wouldn’t need to. But now,”
Eddie’s breathing gets increasingly heavier until he collapses.

Your best friend doesn’t look too happy about it, so he takes matters into his own hands.
