Summary
How does an angry teenager change from taunting a classmate to kill himself to helping his rival become a better hero? A canon compliant retelling of the first three seasons of the anime from Bakugou Katsuki‘s PoV.
When you look into a kaleidoscope, you see a pattern. When the kaleidoscope turns, the pattern changes, and what you see is completely different.
As a teenager, Bakugou Katsuki has a very clear picture of the world and his place at the center of it. However, too many pieces don’t fit where he thinks they should go, no matter how hard he shoves them.
Maybe his life needs to turn completely upside down for him to see things in a new way.

Just like every other day, Izuku mumbled up a storm and about fifteen minutes later (a drastic increase from the measly three minutes he would have gotten in their first year), Katsuki turned to him and snapped. "Shut the fuck up nerd! I can barely hear myself think!"
And Izuku's jaw practically sealed itself shut. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't open his mouth to speak. Thankfully, he wasn't called on during the lesson, but that didn't mean he hadn't tried to participate. He just couldn't.

Stuck in a ghost-like state, the boy enters a race against time in order to save himself from permanently dying. Much to his luck - or lack of it -, the only person who can see and talk to him in this state is no one other than Kacchan.

Summary
Touchstarve:
A quirk that turns the desires and wants of people into manifested physical symptoms. Different for every person, the severity of the symptoms is determined by the context of their desire. The symptoms disappear when the person has fulfilled their desire.
A few years post-graduation from Yuuei, they're working together as hero partners. Katsuki has the luck of being hit by it while on patrol. Izuku just wants to know what Katsuki wants so badly that it's literally making him sick.
In turn, long-standing, deep desires are revealed, for better, or for worse.
